Céline Berger

Céline is a french artist based in Cologne. She has been working as an engineer for around 10 years before she began her artistic activity in 2009. She graduated at the Academie of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany in 2012 and has been a resident artist at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam in 2012/2013. She has been granted the Nam June Paik newcomer award from the Art Foundation NRW in 2012.

How Céline sees her cooperation with Mercedes and Jacco:
Being able to reflect with Mercedes and Jacco about their experience is an exciting continuation of a dialog I am deeply involved in since 2012. My practice aims at constructing a langage that mixes artistic and managerial strategies, a langage that can find a public in both worlds thus allowing a communication between them on a challenging level.
